Role Duties
* Maximise the debt recovery in accordance with contractual terms whilst providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients
* To drive aged debt reduction to achieve monthly targets
* Ensure that both daily and weekly targets for cash collection and debtor days are being met
* Day to day management and allocation of workload to the team
* Manage all escalated, complex or problematic queries and complaints, identifying root cause, identify solutions and deliver or supporting other areas to deliver the improvements
* Maintain strong financial controls in the processing of all transactions
* Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities
* To translate company strategy into team plans and activities, analyse and report on results
* To improve people effectiveness and fulfilment through regular coaching and mentoring
* To recognise and reward high performance and positive contribution to results and behaviours
* To drive performance in team through delegation, regular feedback, performance management reviews, regular team meetings, 1-2-1’s, conflict resolution, sickness management and talent management
* To identify training needs and facilitate development through training and effective delegation
* Identification, ownership and accountability of risks, controls and processes
* To collaborate cross-functionally cross- business, within the line manager and group
* To deliver presentations to a variety of group sizes
* To carry out other reasonable duties as determined by Senior Management

* In-depth knowledge of collections from SME’s
* Proven line management experience
* Managing a team of 5+
* Competent Excel skills
* Proven commercial awareness
* Ability to interpret data into actionable solutions
* Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels
